Kapparis - Paralimni
Beautiful Kapparis is situated between the coastal resorts of Protaras and Paralimni in Cyprus. It has long been known as ‘the jewel of the east coast. Therefore, Kapparis is the selected destination for beach days and vacations for many Islanders. The whole coastal landscape is scattered with stunning picturesque churches and windmills set against the backdrop of the Meditteranean Sea. It genuinely offers the chance to get away from it all with an excellent choice of beaches right on the doorstep.
Within Kapparis itself, the main area can be found along Kennedy Avenue, which runs along the coastal front. Here you will find many restaurants and bars offering something for everyone. On offer are various restaurants, including Cypriot and worldwide cuisines.
From Kapparis, you can walk along the coast with a dedicated footpath which leads you to the other beaches on offer. The beaches all offer sunbeds and umbrellas, and some have been awarded a blue flag and have lifeguards in operation during the busy months.
The Fireman’s Beach is literally just 300 metres from the centre of Kapparis and offers soft sand and clear blue waters for long summer days. Other beaches positioned within the coves along the coast include Malama Beach, which provides a variety of water sports and has an exceptional beach bar, Trinity (Agia Triada) Beach and the more isolated Pezounospili Beach.
